Cynthia Moreland is the Executive Director of Cool Girls. Prior to joining Cool Girls, Cynthia served as the Executive Director of Charis Community Housing (CCH), a division of FCS Urban Ministries, which partners with Urban Atlanta communities to restore and develop neighborhoods by building and financing affordable and workforce housing. Cynthia began her career at FCS Urban Ministries as Development Director.

Previously, Cynthia served as the Regional Coordinator for The HistoryMakers, a non-profit educational institution committed to preserving and developing an internationally recognized, archival collection of thousands of African American video oral histories. In this position, she established and managed the Southeast Regional Office of The HistoryMakers.
