Cool Girls Programs


Enrollment Criteria

All girls’ grades 3rd through 8th enrolled in our partner schools are eligible for our Cool Girls after school programs. Girls self select and are recommended to Cool Girls by teachers, parents and school administrators. High school girls are enrolled in our in our Girls Leadership Forum. High school girls are leaders of the organization assisting with our program design and providing essential peer mentoring to younger girls. High school girls continue to benefit from our Cool Sister Mentoring programs.

Cool Girls participants must be in 3rd- 8th grade and enrolled at one of our partner schools in Dekalb and Fulton Counties.

An active Cool Girls participant that transfers to a school that does not offer Cool Girls programs is eligible for all Cool Girls programs EXCEPT for Girls Club.


High School Leaders

Cool Girls graduates that are now in high school stay involved with Cool Girls in several ways. They are peer leaders during our summer camps, Junior chaperones on field trips and also volunteer during our afterschool programs in the middle schools. Cool Girls graduates also represent Cool Girls throughout the city attending conferences and workshops.
